I have already posted about why new mums shouldn’t be doing crunches but recently I have had a few new clients who have been struggling with their new bodies since the births of their children due to the separation of the abdominals that happened during the pregnancy. With this in mind I thought it would be good to share some info about why it happens and what you can do to help.
This workshop will aim to teach you the basic principles of Pilates and how you can incorporate this into your yoga practice. The workshop will introduce the Pilates breath and how this can be used to effectively engage your abdominal muscles while running through basic Pilates exercises to strengthen and challenge you.
We will aim to learn about our bodies, addressing any current imbalances and helping you to achieve your movement potential with a sound anatomical foundation to achieve long lasting results.
