Your Pilates provides high quality Pilates in St Albans, Harpenden, Redbourn and the surrounding area. I believe Pilates is for everyone. Your Pilates class experience will be tailored to your specific needs, whether you are looking for a remedial, rehabilitative or recreational outcome. Pilates brings together mind and body, the enjoyment of movement and a sound anatomical and somatic foundation and produces long lasting results.

I have experience in working with a whole range of remedial conditions with a particular focus on disc problems, sciatica, sacroiliac problems and general back pain. I have a special interest in working with pregnancy and postnatal women and regularly attend workshops to keep up with the latest developments in this area. I am particularly experienced in PGP, Diastasis Recti and pelvic organ prolapse.

I am very excited to be running my Diastasis Recti course again in St Albans. It will run for 4 weeks from Saturday 25th February onwards at The Pilates Workshop, Ronsons Way, AL4 9PU from 9.15am-10.30am.

The sessions will focus on myofascial release alongside strengthening exercises to help you get your pelvic floor and abdominals functioning more effectively after pregnancy. We will look at how posture affects abdominal separation and learn functional exercises to help you become more aware of this. READ MORE

I have a lovely client at the moment who is desperate to get back into running after her first baby and we are having lots of conversations about it. I feel that this is a really grey area because unfortunately there is not really a definitive answer as it is different for everyone – while some people might not experience problems when returning to running after a few months, others will need to wait for 6 months, a year and some even longer!
